Ars Electronica Center Linz
Ars Electronica Center Linz
Research, discover, experiment and explore - that's what you can do at the "Museum of the Future", the Ars Electronica Center (AEC). With this museum, the city of media art in the heart of Europe offers technological thought leadership paired with visionary media art on the Danube. The Ars Electronica Center is regarded as the gravitating center of the UNESCO City of Media Arts - with its annual festival in September and the renowned Prix Ars Electronica. The striking building, which is located directly on the Danube, houses impressive exhibitions on art, technology and society, and even historical topics are represented in the Deep Space, a multimedia projection room.
At the Ars Electronica Center, you can control robots, clone plants and take photos of your retina. Experience a new dimension of traveling through space and time. For example, discover the Venus of Willendorf up close, or virtually follow in the footsteps of the Romans.

Deep Space - Historical presentations in a digital experience space bring history to life. It brings buildings back to life and makes details visible that cannot be seen anywhere else. (e.g. the Romans in Upper Austria, or the Venus of Willendorf)
