Benedictine building complex Győr

The famous church of the city stands wedged between the Benedictine religious house and the high school, showing its baroque facade to the visitor in Széchenyi Square. The Benedictine monastery standing on the southern side of the square was the first two-story building of Győr, a part of it, the former Jesuit pharmacy, is now furnished according to its original function as a pharmacy museum with many early Baroque decorations.
