Győr

Győr is an inviting, charming baroque masterpiece, where extraordinary sights are strung together and baroque weddings and baroque balls are also held. And while we are on the subject of baroque, every summer Győr hosts a large-scale, 2-3 day baroque wedding with varied events. There are costume parades, baroque dances and opera performances, and of course there is also a historical wedding ceremony, which will be an interesting experience for the whole family.

And since the ball season in Győr is not without baroque atmosphere, the city also organizes the so-called Baroque Ball. It is just as original, splendid and magical as one would imagine: the guests coming to the opulent Zichy Palace are announced by a master of ceremonies and learn cheerful circle and row dances to melodies from the 17th and 18th centuries from a dance master. There are also dance performances, and fortune tellers and a raffle provide entertainment.
