Schönbrunn Zoo Vienna

The Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna is the oldest existing zoo in the world and has already been voted the best zoo in Europe four times. In the summer of 1752, Emperor Franz I Stephan of Lorraine, Maria Theresa's husband, took his noble guests to the newly built menagerie in Schönbrunn Palace Park for the first time. The oldest zoo has existed since then.
