Sopron wine region

In the historical, tradition-conscious wine-growing region, you can taste the famous Blaufränkisch or Sauvignon Blanc, among others. However, don't be surprised if you see pine branch knots with red or white ribbons tied around them on the sides of the houses! This way you can find out if you can buy red or white wine in that place. Talk about traditions!

Walking through the town, which is located on the famous Amber Road, a little surprise awaits you: the locals offer bean pogachas, Fertő fish soup, plum bean soup and grilled duck liver to go with their delicious wines!
